California Race Thread

They really need to dump this track, even Sugar Ray didn't look too excited to be waving the green flag.
 
Burton sure caught a break there...I wonder what the debris was? Piece of foam rubber maybe?

The reason given for dropping the 2nd race this year was poor attendance due to weather and alternate entertainment options.

Surrrrrrrrrrrrrrre, those are the problems.

This is a pretty boring race, Kyle Busch once again dominates.

Ouch for Labonte but now about a 10 lap shootout
 
Wow, crappy race but awesome ending with that battle for first between Harvick, Johnson and Kyle Busch!
 
Best finish at Cali I've ever seen. That was some awesome driving between those 3 guys.
 
So who was black flagged? I saw the flagman wave the black flag for someone.
 
Awesome finish Harvick defeating NASCAR evil:beerbang:, lap 1-190 though weren't great.
 
i'm a huge dirt track racing fan. and the move harvick made reminded me soooo much of some of the best hobby stock racing i've seen. when you're faster, push'em in deeper than they can handle, then drive on by.

job well done by all.
 
Now this great finish will be their reason to let them keep this race next year.

195 laps of pure boredom followed by 5 laps of intense racing to the finish. Yea, that's what fans want. :rolleyes:
