This series doesn’t disappoint.
Layne Riggs is a bad mofo on flat tracks man. He’s won at Langley, Carteret, Ace, and now Caraway.
And Kyle Larson is showing tonight how hard Late Mode Stocks are to drive and how good the competition in this series is.

Hate when people call big time short track racing, dirt or asphalt, a “lower series.” The top guys in series like the CARS tour, Whelen modifieds, and World of Outlaws are just as talented as the top guys in cup.
Larson was not much of a factor. Started mid-pack, moved up to 9th (pending a possible winner's disqualification) - moved up mostly due to attrition. But he did lay off the chrome horn, which he had a lot of opportunity to use. That in itself was a professional performance.
