Cats people, anyone?

Two of the kittens love our beagle, but he could certainly live without them. They'll get up on the chair to lay next to him, or walk up beside him and start rubbing up against him like cats do. Doesn't matter how comfortable he looks, he'll almost always get up after a couple minutes and move somewhere else.
 
Here's Daisy, the 3 year old French Bulldog we adopted a month ago. She has turned into quite a handful. She was a breeder dog in a puppy mill. Don't think she ever had the chance top be a puppy. Needless to say she's making up for it.

I had a dog once, that I got when he was 10 months old. That dog tore up everything, even my good couch. I finally had to crate train him and he settled down. He was a handful though. I hope your Daisy settles down for you.

Why thank you. Daisy is a riot. I've had labs all my life so crazy doesn't bother me. Our first labs ball rolled under our 3 day old couch while we were at work. When we came home there was a hole in the side of the couch where she dug a hole to get the ball.

Mocha did the same thing, ate part of the back of the couch. It was awful. He ruined a perfectly good couch. Then he ate the arm of the matching loveseat.

That dog wound up being the best dog but damn, he was a terrible puppy.

We have Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings all well represented in our house. Oh, and Jurassic Park. (we have a "Raptor") ;)
