Charlotte RACE thread

It literally makes me sick that Jimmie has Chad who can fix any car, while Jeff is stuck with scrubs like Alan Gustafson who can't do jack **** to improve a car. Jeff pretty much races what he gets when it rolls off the truck. If it's good he has a shot. If it is bad, he has no shot.

10-4.

Alan's favorite saying.

How Gordon puts up with him is beyond me.

Doesn't matter if he's not winning races. Kenseth and Johnson has really set the bar high this season and Gordon is just not cuttin' it.

And? Do you think he's magicially just found his way to 4th in points? He's been out perfoming half the feld during these last stretch.

I was talking about which race is more exciting from a fan perspective on TV.
uh we need to cut to Andy's opinion..N'wide is ruined and it is all..Nascar's fault..on a less hysterical note..not all races are going to suit ya. But on a positive note a race can break out any moment..that is why we watch right?

Boy, I'm glad NASCAR created a special Chase Spot for Gordon, it's really paying off!
He's 3rd in the standings... Jealous?

Oh okay so the others 9 drivers who haven't won a chase race yet don't matter either?

No surprise...that he is Jeff Gordon's last crew chief.

I would have rather kept Letarte though. Jeff never missed the chase with him. Always solidly in the top 10.

With Alan its a toss up.

Yeah, I'm in it for the long haul and what's keeping me from going to bed now is the hope that a race may break out before the checkered flag.

Who's ready for another 50 laps of Johnson dominance, then green flag stops and another 50 lap dominance & victory by Johnson (or whoever retakes the lead after stops because this car can't pass)

Oh damn, Larson blew up? Geez. With Gordon's luck he's next.

I'd like to see a fuel strategy play out but with 71 laps to go ain't no way NASCAR plays that game.

Sometimes I think like this:

All week NASCAR media has talked about how JJ used to be the man at Charlotte and now that the track "has some of its old character" back, can JJ retain his dominance?

Now JJ is dominating.

Conspiracy.
