Since the start of 2017, you can go behind the wall and fix mechanical issues, but not crash damage

Since the season started. If it breaks, you can. If it's wreck damage, you have 5 minutes to fix it on pit road. Oh, and no sheet metal replacements.

If you go behind the wall when a part breaks, you can come back and race. If you go behind the wall with crash damage, you're out.
