It's still raining at Lowe's they will be back at 8:30pm with further updates.

IMHO it really doesn't look promising as it takes at least 1 1/2 hours to dry the track.
 
GEEEEZZZZ! Pull the plug already. If they start it by 10 it will be over after 3 AM.

Had another line of rain come through and it is heading towards Lowes.

This thing ain't gonna happen tonight.

And tomorrow they had better start in the early afternoon as it might take a long time to get the race in. More rain in the forecast.
 
The race has been called for tonight and scheduled PRN radio time is 11:45am ET
 
I am glad NASCAR finally called the race. This will sure mess with the car setups though. What lap will the competition caution be called?
 
Wow, I am SO GLAD my husband made the decision not to go as I was waffling back and forth because of the weather!! We have wonderful weather UP HERE... warm and SUNNY and no chance of rain until Tues. We sure saved a lot of money and probably kept from getting sicker since waiting in that rain would not have been fun! It was disappointing though. Didn't have anything else planned to do. I sure hope they get it in tomorrow. The radar didn't look great, but it was supposed to go to scattered rain after noon or so, the last time I looked. If they don't get it in tomorrow, there's going to be a lot of upset race fans who spent a bundle of money. My husband's friend & wife were flying down and didn't schedule to fly back until Monday night or Tues, just in case of rain. I bet they're sure glad they planned it that way!
