They gambled and lost. It wasn't an ass kicking. He finished 3rd on old ass tires.

That was your typical case of the people behind the front two having nothing to lose by going in and getting new tires. While the front two are basically in a no-win situation at that point. They are leading and they lose some of that track position if they go in and pit with the people behind them.

Joe we had the fastest short car run out there. Larsson probably had the fastest long run car. They both got screwed by the caution.

Indeed. Good on NASCAR for not drawing the flag when Blaney lost a tire with 6 to go.
 
Lol I'm not replying to troll posts you know what you're gonna get with Larson every week. When you guys realize he isn't the next Gordon you'll pretend he doesn't exist. You're never gonna be successful in cup when you can't ever keep the lead on a restart

Also, he did damn well for himself with 40 lap old tires. I think if he took the outside in 3-4 on the last lap, he may have had something for Hamlin.

Haha no harm no foul man, I don't mind a little friendly back and forth, that's why I was confused lol. And I could end up being wrong, wouldn't be the first time. I'm married to a woman, so I'm always wrong by default anyways ;p

Damn it's amazing that this so logical and obvious now, but when I was 11 years old sitting in the hallway I was thinking "I guess this is my life now".

May not have worked with the different in tires but it was worth a shot. Maybe he was hoping to just try and loosen Hamlin up.

I never put anyone in the hallway. LOL In the early days, I take unruly ones out in the hall, give them 3 swats on the bottom and
put them back in their seat. Later, I just called the office and let the AP take them off my hands. No problem. :D

He had the chance to move hamlin out the way, but decided to keep it clean.

Honorable, but that line of thinking on the final turn of the final lap will lose him races.
 
This is literally like the 5th race in a month he's been unable to close lot. And the scary thing unlike past 2 years is that the cars are super fast, it's the driver not getting it done. Choked at the Bristol xfinity race giving Erik jones the high line at the end, couldn't pass kenseth and was unwilling to bump him with 30 laps of time at Dover, choked in the all star race and blew the restart taking away away chance he had and and then once again unwilling to bump Denny to win. Crews are fast, cars are fast, only one person to blame. And I'm not saying he sucks or anything but the whole blaming the equipment argument is really gettin old.
