Chase for the Cup - 2012 Edition

Sounds like fun...I'm in! But then again, I'm all for pretty much any fantasy dealing with NASCAR.

Players will be able to make or change their picks all week long starting Sunday. They will be locked in at the scheduled time of the green flag for the first race of the Chase.

So you make two picks . One for first place and one for worst ?
 
If you got a spare spot for an Aussie... I will join as well.

This is a stupid question...... I presume that you can pick the same drives as someone else.... but can you also pick the same combo for highest and lowest ?

Yes, two picks each week. The game only revolves around only the Chase drivers. It's simple. From the 12 drivers pick the Chase driver that you think will finish the best and pick the Chase driver that you think will finish the worst. The better your best pick finishes and the further back you worst driver finishes the more points you earn.

Yes, you can pick the same drivers as someone else. You'd just end up with the same amount of points for that given week. Each week you can pick new drivers or keep them the same if you like. All of the Chase races are added together and the highest point total after Homestead is the winner.
 
For those interested in playing. If the race goes off as scheduled I'll be starting the first weeks Chase for the Cup - 2012 Edition thread on Sunday morning. Those picks will be for the first race @ Chicagoland Speedway.
 
DP when is the deadline for the picks, the morning of the race, and also are the picks locked in or can you change them before the deadline.

The deadline to make picks will be the scheduled ESPN broadcast time for the given race. I'll post that time in each weeks thread.

The picks are not locked in until the deadline has been reached. If you make your picks on the first day that I create the thread, you can change them any time up until the deadline. I don't care how many times you change it, your last entry will be recorded.
