Doesn't look like much of a difference. Widened the wheel base, removed even more steel and added more plastic.

In my opinion, they started from something that was ugly then went downhill from there.
Anyways, I'm trying to buy a CTS truck to paint it and the only model I can find is a 1999, but I want a 1998. There's not to big of a difference between them though...

Just a 1/24th diecast. I want to paint it like Harvick's CTS 1998 Spears ride, but I can only find '99 diecast.

If chevy would drop the price down to the caliber of truck that it is, they could sell a lot more.

The main difference that I noticed w/the 03 truck from the 02 trucks are the front head lights.last years goes around the sides.this year it is only in the front.

i have a 1993 Chevy S-10, that i use to drive to and from work...........it has 168,000 miles, 6-cyl, and runs like a champ...........the body is beat up, and the interior looks like crap, but the best truck i have ever had........... CHEVY makes a kick ass truck no matter what year, but i would love a SILVERADO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not rellly, the did make in the 98 body stily as a 99 for a little while.

Well I emailed the lady at Kevin Harvick Inc and she said that was the truck he raced. But he raced the spears truck in 97-98. Hmmm. Thanks!
If he raced the truck in 97-98, then I'm not sure it is possible to be a 99. Who knows, they never really "look" like the year model "car/truck" to me anyway.
