Corey Lajoie said on his podcast that Chevy informed their drivers on potential repercussions like loss of GM vehicles and loss of sim time if they pushed another make to the win on Sunday.

Listen for yourself here

They deserve all the hell they are catching for this. However, "Don't push another manfacturer to a win" is actually much less objectionable than "Don't race each other and we want a single file line of Chevys", which was what was previously reported about the Chevy meeting during the rain delay on Sunday.

Chevy didnt want their drivers working with any other make, and they were all told to push the 9,24,88 ( per Kyle Larson) sure, I get not wanting them to push another make to the win.

Shame on Chevy for making me dissapoint, collusion has never happened before in Nascar.

If and this is a big IF, Corey's second hand info is true, then this is BS for GM to do this.

Plate racing cannot be handled this way, a driver has a chance to win running second to a competitor, you cannot just make these things happen, it's called Racing for a reason.

Really? There's something wrong with that? I can't imagine Aaron Rogers going out and the field and helping an opponents shaky offense.

It's bad enough the sponsors and producers are running the sport. Now manufacturers are telling the drivers how to race? I'm irked.

Aaron Rodgers competes against only one other team at a time. If he was competing against 39 others, and helping one of them would help him get past some of those other 39, he'd do it.

Another stick and ball analogy that doesn't work.

This is actually very entertaining --

probably getting close to the MWR scenario -- and with orders and penalties handed down by GM.

Don't help Logano -- spin your Chevy now -- rub the tire of that Toyota/Ford -- you two escort that Chevy to the win...

Get Logano and Keselowski

Now that I think about it, it's common for NFL teams that have locked up home field advantage to have their usual starters stay off the field so they'll stay healthy for the playoffs. That's not actively helping the opponent, but it's passively accepting a potential loss for benefit later.

I have given kleenex to non chevy fans. They haven't won as many championships as Chevrolet and they have suffered in ways that I can't imagine. Jimmie Johnson has as many cup championships as Ford has in the last 50 years. I reckon I would be bitter too. It must be a difficult lot in life. I just thank the Lord that I have never had to endure such an affliction. It must have been hard to endure it for so long. There are not many active drivers with enough cup wins to match Chevrolets championships. I thought about counting GMs championship totals but I don't want post something that could trigger a fatality among the Ford fans (it would also take a long time to count them all). I know it hasnt been easy. God bless them I hope they can find something to be happy about.

And the times have changed, Chevy aint as strong at the time. But some non-Chevy fans still need a kleenex.....

Nice job of changing the subject.
