Chicago Cup

Well Jimmy Johnson just got his last pitstop out of the way cleanly...time to start praying for meteors or a shoe thrower.

I would have loved watching and posting today, but I work 12 hour days every other weekend. I just follow the leader board and the thread on work days, will watch the DVR later.

Ha, try watching the race with your mother-in-law. Actually, she is a fan, but at 84, she has a hard time remembering who is what. Kept asking who is in the #2 car. Where is the #99...etc. Always talking about the also-rans (those park and starters). She could see the big screen tv but would ask "who is leading" and then would ask, who is that? I love my MIL, but some times she can get on my nerves.

I don't care for either driver but I didn't see anything he did wrong. JJ looked like he couldn't make up his mind if he wanted to pass inside or outside and that's what slowed him down.

That's what I saw. I guess Keselowski is in JJ's head. ;)

I am conflicted on this one. If JJ wins the championship we get to here about 6 times and if he can get #7 all next year. If Kes wins we get to hear the media blow their load over how great he is all next season....

Considerng it's the first race in and the excuse books haven't even been opened yet, I think I'd hold off on awarding the cup to either of them.

Perhaps but if it starts throwing it's bottle at people and having to shave twice a day he better worry.

I get the shaving part, but I would think a Kevin Jr would throw as many temper tantrums as a Tony Jr.
