Chicagoland Cup Thread

...come on...there still can't be any non-believers left that think that Kyle is merely lucky this year.
Let's go, Roush Boys!!

This race is awesome (I'm speaking of 1000' drag racing on ESPN2).

Wildthing's got it. Sucks because Harvick's 2nd.

Nevermind, Johnsen around Harvick.

Go Kyle.

That's right, just take four tires because we Harvick fans don't want to see him even attempt to win a race.:sarcasm:

I don't know what I am more sick of The commercials for the closer and saving grace or kyle busch. At least the commercials will go away in a few weeks. tnt will probably sponsor a car with the closer and saving grace when espn takes over. I actaully fell asleep watching this one woke up right before the restart with 2 to go.

Jimmie should've said:

Jimmie Johnson said:
I'm a douchebag, I was gonna bottleneck the field and Wildthing outsmarted me.

I'll never understand why the leader starts midpack with the cars on the tailend of the lead lap in front of them. Why not just let them come around to the back? It just doesn't make any sense...

I'm with you there. It's totally ridiculous. Then all those lapped cars hold up the lead cars and make it either boring or a disaster waiting to happen.

I live a half hour from this track and I gave up going a couple years ago. The only people that go are people that watch one nascar race a year and this is it. And they think its good racing. They were smart and built the dirt track right next door, but of course these people that think 1.5 mile racing is cool have never heard of hardcore local short track racing. Spent the night at a demolition derby and see some action instead of hollywoods chasing each other in a line. 15 million in lights couldnt save that place no matter how much they try to act like its a whole new track or whatever.

Sounds like sour grapes from the Kyle Haters. I watch every lap and thought it was one of the better races. I guess you all must have missed half the field driving side ways and a gizillian narrow misses. I enjoyed it alot, course, I like Kyle a bit. Jr is suffering from Jeff Gordon syndrome, in clean air he is fast but in traffic his car wouldn't work. Don't know why, I ain't that smart. Nother sound bite for my shadow. LOL Duane

I don't know, JJ was the leader and pretty much anything goes for them but your right, Kyle bested him with a second place car.

And no problem, I'll keep the siggy's coming!! LOL Duane
