just wondering if anyone knew anything about this:

If this is correct, the track isnt being torn down

This makes more sense.

Considering all the farmland that's in the Chicagoland Speedway area, I can't imagine tearing that place down just to put up an industrial park.

Guess we'll know more after the July 16th meeting by the Joliet Planning Commission.

Do men still dance with their wives in Chicago?

With all the vacant land that appears to be near the track, looks like there are plenty of places for someone to build something else. Demolition of the track alone would be several millions of dollars.

If they're going to start developing the land around Chicagoland Speedway, an industrial park would be better for it than housing. Industrial parks usually don't complain about noise or traffic.
