Chicken Feces

After watching the replay several times it was clear that Jr. did not even try to lift. His engine didn't change RPM's even after he contacted the 60, he drove straight through Edwards.
Jr. oughta feel lucky that Edwards cooled off and didn't want to box.
Even the crowd boo-ed Jr.

Edwards was loose first, where was Jr going to go?

Gimme a break...Thats a load of crap and you know it. Jr got a run and wouldn't get off the gas no matter what.

What would you do last lap? Edwards was clearly loose off of 2, if Jr backed off Robby would of hit Edwards....so give me a break!

hah that's bull crap, dale jr pulled the dirtiest move and doesn't get penalized.. awesome :/

Regardless Carl should not have ran into the side of Juniors car. If his hand would have been 6 inches farther out of the car he would have got hurt. Junior could have lifted. He blipped the throttle but by that time Carl had started to get even more sideways and then Junior finished him off.

It was a congratulatory tap...it happens from time to time. Mabey Jr should keep his hands on the wheel. :D

According to my surround system and replay, Jr. NEVER "blipped" the throttle. He drove through Carl. It was the only way he could have won.
Unlike us, Mears was actually on the track and said Edwards "got spun out pretty good".

If Junior lifted= no win, not lifting he gets the win. IMO the move was not intentional, i'm not a Jr fan by any means, but Jr. does own up to his mistakes, this time he said Edwards was loose which was clearly evident by the replay. Edwards shouldn't of ran up to Jr after the race and hit him, very immature, and could of caused more harm than just pissing off Jr. All this WWE stuff in Nascar is getting out of hand, what happened to just racing, settling it like men later over a few beers or punches, and moving on???

He had his hands on the wheel when he ran over the 60.
I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the big red trailer about now.
Can't wait for tomorrow.

Edwards is an idiot who is driving over his head. He's putting his car in places it don't belong. It's not JR's job to lift to save his ass and that move under yellow was bonehead, second time he's done that under yellow( tony a couple weeks ago)
Carl is turning into an over aggressive driver with a I'm holy'er than thou attitude, and that's sad.

hah you are a funny dude..you talk about harming people..did you think dale jr though about that when he just clearly bump carl out of the way? he clearly could've lifted..but he didn't, more harm? hah what's more then that spin? no harm? carl also could've been injured by the bonehead move maded by dale jr so pleaseeeeeeee

Where exactly was Carl's car when he had it where it didn't belong??? Out front?
I don't know which race you were watching today or how long you've been watching races but Edwards is certainly not driving over his head.
And yes, it is Jr's job to lift out of his throttle to avoid causing a wreck.
Which was a more bonehead move the one by Jr. at 185 MPH or the one by Edwards at 35 MPH?

Evedently out front IS where he didn't belong because you saw the result. Dont't insult me by thinking I'm A newbie at NASCAR viewing.

If I was going to insult you it would be obvious.

Mark McFarland is probably weeping in a corner right about now.

i guess it doesnt really matter that the 60 car was loose comming out of the corner and was going around wheter JR hit him or not.

i for one would have gotten out of that car and knocked the crap out of carl edwards.....good thing he didnt hit Jr's hand when it was hanging out the window of the car.

classes act on Edwards move.

and yes i saw the same replay as you guys did...the 60 was going around

Maybe Edwards forgot about when he spun Elliott Sadler on the last lap in Richmond last year....

Oh, did I say that out loud?

edwards was loose. JR was going for broke. Those two don't add up well. And why was robby called to the trailer? He did no wrong, he just got caught in his (temporary) car owner's mess.

Then don't act like one and you won't be treated like one.

yep...going around the track like everyone else.

yea sideways around the track as he came out of the corner........

No way Edwards would have wrecked without help. Period.
We'll see what happens tomorrow when it really counts.
Jr. finished 18th last year.

I remember not too long ago (pocono) everyone bagging on Stewart for intentionally hammering Bowyer into Edwards. Edwards got the dirty end of the stick.
Today Edwards got the dirty end of the stick again when Jr. intentionally hammered him.
My how soon we forget.

depends how you get there.
Might be according to you, but for the most part, the guy who crosses the finish line first wins. If you want to cry and whine that someone got taken out, go to the end of the line. It's pretty long as this has been going on since the sport started. If NASCAR believes that Jr was a tad bit overly aggressive, they might penalize him, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

I love this sport. It brings out the best of us. :beerbang:

Before you have confirmation of why, I'd like your opinion on why Jr. was called to the trailer.

Finally some one sees it like i did, Edwards was loose i don't know why some people can't see that. Was Jr. supposed to slow down and play dead? No he was going for the win, so he stayed in the throttle. Edwards is pressing to get into the chase and it is showing in his Busch driving too. Edwards can drive, but he needs to know when he is wrong and admit it.

Just for clarifacation, you are saying it's ok to slam into someone because they are loose infront of you? The slammer has no duty to make an effort not to slam into the front guy?

All you people talk about this incident as if was something new in Nascar.
As long as they have been racing with fenders, there's been guys bumping for a win.
J Gordon's done it.
Sr's done it.
Earnie Irvan's done it.
Rusty.
Richard.
Waltrip.
All of em.

Next week someone else will do it.
Move on.

You know what maybe we should all not make such a big deal about racing incidents like most of us seem to do. I am guilty of that for sure, but in this case it was a racing incident, not an intentional bump out of the way. Of course that is my opinion, which many of you here disagree with, it wouldn't be any fun to come on here and post if you all agreed with me...lol :beerbang:
