Closing Threads

i can explain it 71fan, there is mainly just a couple reasons.

first is there is tons of multiple accounts(similiar to nascat22 aka wrdburton)sorry wrdburton just pointing out a example that is clear to everyone.

the other is we have quite a few who sign up and never post, or post an ad and never come back.

anything else concearning you i can answer? Do you still think im Paul? or did you do the whois and see who i was?

Nope, nothing at all. As to who you are it hardly matters.

Your forum must be how you like it, but to slough off 1500 plus members as double, triple, or ever quadruple-nicks and ad-spammers reminds me of a certain Anerican bird called the Dodo.

Censorship for the sake of censorship. That's how I'll remember your board. So stand behind your mods and carry on, it makes no nevermind to me.
 
Well, if it makes you no nevermind then just leave, nobody is going to miss you anyway. :angry:
 
71 why dont you go and open a forum just the way you want it, hell brandx will join it just for arguments sake.
when you run a forum you will see. when you only have 10 - 100 members total its easy, once you get a large base call me and we'll compare notes. I think you will get a big surprise. but as said if you feel the board is so bad and you dont agree then its your choice to leave, maybe thatsracin is more your style, i dont know.
But to pass judgement on how a board is run without ever running one yourself seems more dodo to me.
 
Sam, you and the mods have turned this place around and made it worth coming back to post.

Even though I am not a frequent contributor, I do get to read some of the posts and it is obvious as to who will post here not just for the sake of discussion or disagreement with ideas but simply for the reason of provoking others into a heated argument so that they can make themselves appear to be knowledgable and important.

Life is too short for me to waste getting involved in these flame wars and I don't care to participate in them. My choice is to ignore them and eventually they will either go away or show their true colors and be banned altogether.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I will continue to be an occasional participant to this forum and do enjoy what the majority of what the posters here have to say. Maybe with the off season coming and with me getting off the road for a couple of months, I'll be able to spend a little more time here.
