I am in the minority but imo the World 600 is much better than the Daytona 500. The 500 just has the opening day vibe, new cars and teams and a huge beneficiary getting be the first race of the year. The 600 is just more of the real thing in my opinion.
 
how many races am i going to miss because of this prime deal.i signed up for the free deal last year.and it was a nightmare to cancel,they wanted bank statements,not kidding

Odd. I canceled on line in about two minutes. Most of that was Googling how to do it.

But to answer your question, five races will be on Prime. Whether you miss them is up to you.

Bank statements to cancel? That’s the first time I have ever heard of such a thing. I’ve subscribed to so many free trials and have never had to do anything other than hitting the “cancel membership” button.
 
I've never heard of requiring bank statements for streaming services before. I have had Prime Video for many years now, but other streaming services I have signed up for during the 7 day Free deals and cancelled either online on their sites in a few minutes or even on my TV using my ROKU remote to cancel the Free subscription deal.

As for this upcoming race, this has always been one of my favorite of the season.
 
Maybe there will be a day again in the future where one can watch Monaco, Indianapolis, take a grilling out break and then close it all out with the 600, while seeing it all with a single subscription service. Thankful for the memories, it was great while it lasted.

Regardless of how it's delivered, Monaco was a snoozer.

And it is getting worse. I have about quit watching TV. (Real) unlimited internet and numerous Youtube free subscriptions that are pretty much commercial free is the way to go for me.

Well, there's Toronto to accompany your grilling, but you've been huffing lighter fluid if you think you'll get that single subscription dream.

Yea I can agree with this, this race is on my bucket list higher up than the Daytona 500
 
The first 600 I ever attended was the 1978 World 600. Darrell Waltrip won it in the DiGard Chevrolet. DW in his prime was a master at Charlotte, as good as anyone I ever saw. Donnie Allison was second, Bobby third, Cale Yarborough fourth, David Pearson fifth, Parsons sixth, Baker seventh. It was truly like watching all of the greats.

Petty finished eighth, but the Dodge Magnum was junk. Petty Enterprises switched over to a Monte Carlo just a couple of months later.

Sterling Marlin, Bill Elliott, Dale Earnhardt, Neil Bonnett, Harry Gant, and Ricky Rudd were the young guys trying to establish themselves in the Winston Grand National (Cup) series. Harry Gant drove Kenny Childers' Black Diamond car.

Waltrip made a big impression on me, but the way David Pearson wheeled the big old Mercury around the track was mesmerizing. He was so smooth, and he would put the corner of the left front tire on the same spot of the apex entering the dog leg almost every lap. Occasionally, he would nip just a little piece of the grass and shoot pieces of dirt about 30 or 40 feet into the air. At some point, it hit me just how smooth and consistent he was, down to just an inch or two. Maybe it was a "you had to be there" thing, but it was great stuff.

Agreed. Plus stages have improved it in my opinion, you have four 100 lap races and it lends itself to such an action packed marathon.

If Daytona could ever get the racing Atlanta it would regain a bit of mojo. Regardless this along with the Southern 500 are in a class of their own

It is a long day. I live two hours from the track and we always did Charlotte all in one day, it was probably a 14 to 16 hour round trip.
