College Basketball 2025-2026

I'll be damn, but I never thought an old turd like me, had it what it took to enjoy listening to the "Chain Smokers" during the pre-game show. Shiet Fire they were good.

It would behoove them to take a look at this game and see how both dominated the landscape of college basketball season. Personally, I can't stand the 3 ball it's highly inefficient and a 3 to 2 trade off, hoping the pendulum swings back to physical basketball. Big fan of high efficiency play.
 
Arizona is in trouble and better find a reset button.
 
Arizona got back in the game for a minute, but they're making way too much careless contact rn on the defensive end and bricking shots from short. Michigan is a load to handle tho so they are overcompensating out of their unnatural game.

All Michigan rn with a healthy lead, expect Arizona to claw their way back in it in the 2nd half, lot of game left. Looking good for Mich.

I think it is game set and match, and I am done for tonight. I think.
 
Arizona had two losses by a total of seven points coming into tonight. That was simply another in a string of dominant tournament performances by Michigan. Their frontcourt is too stout even with “only” Mara and Johnson out there healthy.
 
True story, was watching at this pizza place and a table of U of A alum's sitting behind me, guy asked to change off of the alternate broadcast to get full screen and I was saying to myself you sure you wanna see this in bigger picture?
 
A thorough thrashing of the Arizona Wildcats (I don't think they had their best game, just one of those off nights) but all the credit to Michigan they jumped on them early and never took their foot off the gas, message sent. Did not have that type of blowout on my bingo card. I will be utterly shocked if the Huskies can do anything with them, but it's sports wild things can happen, and Dan Hurley to me is the best coach in college basketball. They took care of business against Illinois in pretty convincing fashion as a dog. Can't rule them out. 1 more game.
 
UConn isn’t playing badly right now but Michigan hasn’t hit a 3 yet and they’re already getting the Huskies into foul trouble.
 
I would like to see the refs less involved in this game overall. Michigan has turned up the heat defensively but UCONN is turning the ball over on giveaways at the same time.

Ugly game, but at least it was competitive. UConn gave Michigan a test that most of the country could not.

Michigan is one of the best teams of the modern era. Ever since that absurd run through the Players Era festival they’ve been an absolute force. Elite from start to finish.
