Awsome win for Sauter :) Some good racing went on tonight. That was prob. the most entertaining and exciting busch race I have ever seen. Great finish!!!
 
That sucked Johnny, you're a loser in my book. Go back to the county fair demolition derby where you belong.
 
I think he deserved it.... Kenseth has the Winston, let Johnny enjoy Busch racing and the win.
 
Matt should have NOTHING to complain about in my book, and I LIKE MATT. Tomorrow may be a differnt story!

When did this become a non-contact sport?

Not so unusual for either a short track or for Richmond. Some folks don't go for it and some do and some just kinda take it as it comes.

And do not let any driver out there kid ya....they have done it.

That is oh so right, HS. I really think that Johnny drove the race. I really felt that Kenseth expected Johnny to just move over and let him by to win the race. BS!!!! Johnny is the one driving for points, not Kenseth. I really loved how Harvick decided he needed to "take up for" his teammate. That was great!!! WAY TO GO JOHNNY!!! You drove the race! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
 
Majyx, ya gotta love it when teamates stick up for each other. IMOH, despite the fact that I like Matt, I think he was out of order on this one.
 
I gotta here your reasoning to think that Matt was out of order. What Matt did was under caution and not race conditions. He also said that he should have not done it. What Johnny did was intentionally knock Matt out of the way to win and he was proud of it.
 
Matt is a regular WINSTON CUP driver who drives the occasional Busch race. I do believe that Johnny has been a Busch REGULAR driving the 2003 season in the Busch cars. He is driving a "few" races for the Kodak team, but that doesn't constitute a "full time" WC ride. Matt needs to realize that these guys are out there for the "real" paycheck and he has a contract that pays him the big $$$$ in WC. I can definitely see absolutely NOTHING wrong with the end of this race tonite. If you do, then all we need to do is just agree to disagree. And leave it at that. ;)
 
My "Condratulations" to Johnny Sauter, I didnt see the race; and I took the wrong time to miss it :( . Now, with all this we see or hear about at the Richmond Busch race, how bout the Winston Cup race ?!
 
Great, Let 's make it so that anytime a Winston Cup driver enters into a Busch race they get intentionally knocked out of the way by a Busch regular if it appears that they are going to win a race. Sounds good to me. Now that is racin.

That's B.S.!! To insinuate that rules are different because Matt drives full time is garbage to be polite.
 
..and what is wrong with Johnny using the Chrome Horn to win a race? I can remember a few others who did that back in the day...
I dont know if you guys know it or not, but its called RACING! If ya cant take a bump, then get your ass off the track, outta the car.. and go work at a gas station. This is what the sport is all about, great racing. Johnny can do it, Kevin can do it... obviously Matt cant take it.
 
Brand X Guy, WHATEVER. Please go whine somewhere else. I am tire of these Buschwhackers coming in here and taking paychecks, let alone points, from these guys who are running the ENTIRE Busch Series. Matt started it on the caution lap, and Johnny finished it. Like I said,If you don't agree with my assessment, then we will just AGREE to DISAGREE. End of my discussion on this.
 
Wow, quite a bit of fussing and whining here just because Kenseth didn't win. I'm so happy that he didn't win that race. Sauter definately deserved it, and so what if he bumped him? It's not like I've never seen that happen before... It's about time Kenseth had some bad luck this year, even though he STILL finished 6th. If only this would happen in Winston Cup, and maybe the end of this season would actually be interesting again.

I'm not going anywhere, why don't you go spread your GARBAGE somewhere else. I don't blame you for running away. A real fan doesn't hope that somebody has bad luck or loses. A loser hopes for that. And just to show how wrong you are Sauter started it when he tried to put Kenseth in the wall.

Matt Kenseth is definitely the new crybaby of NASCAR, he first performs an asshat move on Johnny Sauter, then Sauter does the bump and run, then Kenseth gets angry then he gets angry again at Harvick for just racing and making it three-wide.

I could write a book on all this, this is just gold !

I'm not a big Harvick fan, I like Kenseth and am impartial to Johnny, but I agree with the way this thing went down. Sorry Matt, suck it up, Johnny's running for the pionts and you acted like a baby for a little hard racing. Rubbings racing, and if you're not sideways, you're not trying hard enough!

Oh and Yes, Rubbing is racing what Johnny did was rub Matt Kenseth. I dont consider what he did "slamming" into him, that was the "bump-and-run".
 
I don't see that as aggressive driving. Who have I bashed? You're the one that posted I was an idiot and them edited it in 2 seconds. Rubbing? Bumping? Fine. In my opinion he simply stole the win and if you call that racing then I guess you consider what happen between Jimmy Spencer/Kurt Busch a fight. P.S. The Homer connection is getting old. I ask you again who did I insult?

Brand x werent you backing up kurt busch after the bristol race, and you call what johny did to matt dirty driving?


I thought it was just a bump and run, regular thing on a short track, it was done near the end of the race for the win.
 
Since I wasn't able to see the race last night what happened? Is this another deal like with Bobby Hamilton that one was upset that another wouldn't just basically let him by for position?
 
The first slide contact was just a racing deal. Matt should not have bumped Johnny under the caution. For crying out loud he almost wrecked Johnny coming to the red flag. What would have happened then???

The only reason johnny bumped Kenseth that hard to win the race was because he was first bumped by kenseth.

What I don't understand was why everyone gathered in a crowd when kenseth and harvick were just discussing what happened.
 
That was good old short-track Saturday night racing. It's been done since the beginning, and will continue to be done as long as drivers are going for the win.

Dino, I'm with you on the Harvick/Kenseth discussion. They were talking with no problems when the crowd gathered and things got pushy. Why didn't the crews keep their noses out of it.
 
I agree TRL, at first I thought they were team mates (I dont watch Busch much, but Ive started) but then when he was talking to the guy from tnt, I found out they werent. And the crews did make it worse.

But Im not a Harvick fan but when he stuck up for Sauter I forgot about not liking him and liked him. I mean, Kenseth has nothing to be crying about because he's not in the points...let the guys who are racing for the points do what they want and not half to hear a winston guy cry about it(espcaily when they get pushed out the way).

Did anyone notcie that Harvick stopped in front of Kenseth so Kenseth I quess culdnt go "discuse" what happened with Sauter.


But what a good win for Sauter....Vickers finished 3rd YAY :bounce:
 
Although I wasn't completely satisfied w/ Johnny Sauter's bump and run win, I think it was no more fitting that he did it to Matt Kenseth than to any one else. I really like Kenseth, but I remember a last lap bump and run when Matt Kenseth was racing Tony Stewart in the Busch series years ago. Matt Kenseth was racing an underfunded team w/ Lycos on the side (but Lycos was only on there at the time as a thank you for sponsoring them at Daytona) and that win ended up saving his career. Matt Kenseth might not like how he got passed, but he better remember where he's come from and how he's got to where he is.

Good job Johnny Sauter. He's quite a talent.
 
That was a great race. Matt Kenseth is a LOSER................. Johnny Sauter is a good and decent driver, i like is driving skills.

The end of race was a good deal. I was hoping Kevin Harvick beat the living piss out of Matt Kenseth for going after him. Matt Kenseth is a whines to much becuase Sauter and Harvick teamed up on him.

Congrats go to Johnny Sauter and the Channellock Pit Crew on winning the Fauni 250 from Richmond International Raceway.

Ill have all the bgn pics after i get them develop.
