Congrats Kyle Busch

None cares for this guy so here's a pity congrats...

Nothing worse than seeing the dirtbag traitors win a race. Way to go nascar with the timing of the last caution.

Held off a hard charging Larson at the end. Didnt have the best car by far but got lucky, just like last year. Congrats.

Old Screw Loose pulled this one out by working his car hard today, great driver.

Yes, those last laps were sheer luck. No questions. Kyle should give the trophy back...Nawwwwwww. :headbang:

I didn't say he didn't deserve it...
But you can't say he wasn't lucky to have that last caution come out

Jeff Gordon was done even if that last caution didn't come out. Kyle was gaining at a rate of 1 second plus. If you want to write this off as "luck" then please provide the number of times Kyle (and any other racer for that matter) has lost because of luck. The whole damn thing is about being lucky enough to be in a position to win. He was there. He got the job done.

Jeff slowed to prevent a tire issue, not because he had one. He could have have pushed the pedal down when he needed to to stay ahead of Busch to finish out the last 2 laps. If anything, all Gordon had to do was make it around to the white flag and wait for a caution due to the tire issue. It just came a half lap too early. You act like Kyle had a dominant car and Gordon was just gonna let him slip by. Everyone knows if Bowyer or anyone else didnt spin the race was Gordon's. The fastest car doesnt always wins the race.

Gordon went tight late--that's why Jimmie was kicking his ass. Kyle was fast at the beginning of the run and at the end. You want to go on a long stint to end the thing, I believe that Kyle takes him. Look what happened on 4 at the last restart. Kyle kicked his ass. Jeff was fast as hell all weekend, but when he needed it the most, it wasn't there. Jeff had his shot and got beat. Damn right the fastest car doesn't win the race--it's happened to Kyle a million times. The racing gods paid him one back. BTW--I never said that Kyle had a dominant car, but it was better than most realize. I might also add that I would be pissed if I was Jeff and my engineers couldn't figure out how to handle the tire situation. TRD did.

Deserves an epic face palm. JJ was sandbagging till Gordon caught him & he took off. Blew a tire in doing so. Gordon had the fastest car all day on the long runs. Passed 350 cars - including Kyle several times. Blew right by him. Gordon didn't have a shot as soon as the GWC flew. His car was horrid on short runs. If it was a 20 lap shoutout - barring tire ridiculousness - It's Gordon's race to lose. But as soon as the GWC flew Gordon was out of it. Kyle got damn lucky the caution flew & he was able to use his car on the short run.

I'll see your face palm and raise you several. BS on the JJ sandbagging. Just BS. Wonder how many cars Jeff passed after his speeding penalty? Blew right by Kyle except when he needed it most--and that's when Kyle kicked his ass. The rest of your post is acceptable.

No BS. Listening in on his scanner, no word of tightness. There was a vibration but it didn't effect anything. JJ just drove away. & how many cars did he pass after the penalty? Uh, the whole field... Kyle did not kick Gordon's ass. He had a short run car & Gordon had a long run car. The result was expected.

I heard a report of tightness via the MRN broadcast. The point about the number of passes you cited is that when you go to the back you have a great chance of passing cars if you aren't total crap. Your inflated number reflects his screw up. Not something I would be bragging about, but to each his own. Kyle had a 3 lap and a 30 lap car--everything in the middle sucked. The result was expected? Really? Glad I am not as smart as you....the thrill of Kyle taking the race by the throat on the GWC will be forever burned in my brain.
