He is the son of Judy Gordon of Owensboro and Terry Mayfield of Charlotte, N.C. Mayfield of Mooresville is a graduate of Owensboro High School and is a NASCAR Winston Cup driver for Evernham Motorsports

Congratulations to Jeremy and Shana!!! I wish them nothing but the best. Jeremy is my favorite driver and I'm glad to see him happy. At his fan club party you could tell that he was really happy with the way things were going in his life both personally and professionally. Hope that 2003 is the best year of his racing career!
