Congrats to Matt on picking up a personal best 6th win of the season. This makes Matt the first driver to win at least 6 since 2010, as no driver won more than 5 races in '11 or '12.
 
I dont think he is done yet. He has been on fire the whole season. If it hasnt been a serious issue, he has been top 10 and top 5 most races. Still looking like it will come down to him and Johnson.
 
We should consider requiring a spoiler alert to these thread titles for the benefit of those who record races but still like to log on here and check out the other news. Most other sites require it.

If it were me and I wanted to watch a recorded version of the race before finding out who may have won it, I'd sure as heck stay away from a NASCAR bulletin board. Maybe that's just me?

I would stay clear of the internet and not even turn on the TV until I'm ready to watch the race, Beer in hand.
I would also unplug the phone so nobody can call leaving a message talking about the winner.

Oh yea congrats Matt Kenseth
 
I was glad Matt won because it was late and him winning put me right to sleep...what everything about him usually does for me lol
 
Both Daytona 500's Kenseth won were affected by rain, and he's won two rain delayed races this year.

Look for Kenseth to do a raindance at New Hampshire.
 
I'm glad Matt won, One because I'm glad he is driving up to his potential again, Two is I've always cheered for him, Three may be the most important- I will not have to listen to the endless screaming and bashing by the 18 fans about the sweep.

It looked like Jimmie was on a tear there for a while when he was coming up through the field. I think Matt had the best car, overall, throughout the night. JGR has been impressive since the reliability issues were addressed.
 
I got sicker as the race wore on, but I watched it..I'm a fan, and I watch even if it is a Toyota train wreck. I have to be content with Harvick pushing a Toyota to a win..and watching Kyle trying not to explode after it happened..It's the little things that count when a Toyota wins..not to mention comes in second. And Joe Gibbs afterwards..

No, of course it's not just you.

If one comes to a Nascar message board 8 hrs after a race, one needs to expect that there will be discussion about the winner and on racing-forums it's customary to have a congratulation thread for the winner.

Expecting any different is, is...well I don't know what it is but it's something ;)

This is the first time in his career he's won more than 5 races too.

What a year for Matt. Congrats.

Hamlin must feel so tiny right about now. Severely outshine by his brand new teammate and outdone by the other. Add to that even Danica is running better, I'd be looking for a high point bridge right about now. :D
 
Hamlin's got a bone out of place somewhere, Maybe he got the experimental KaBoom engine last night

But there were three Toyotas that did go Kaboom last night, so I don't think we're totally out of the woods with the engine issues. I'm sure Denny's getting the bottom of the barrel junk at JGR, and Matt and Kyle are getting all the good stuff.

Cole Whitt's, didn't pay attention to what car, was a good one for a while, but Jr's flameout is going to be making the highlight reels for years. that thing was turned up, and when it went south there was no doubt.

Whitt was driving the Swan Racing car, but that swan turned into a roast duck pretty quick last night. And yeah, the 88 made it look like a nuclear bomb had been detonated when its engine went up.
