sorry for the size but I am having problems fixing these dang things.
 
Here's something I've been working on for six months. This is the San Francisco, a Spanish Galleon. My next project will be the CSS Alabama.

Thanks. I decided earlier in the year that if the wife was going to be on my computer, I'd get something that I could work on in the same room. This was my first attempt at building a wooden ship. I have built plastic models of both cars and planes since I was a kid and thought it would be a snap. Yeah, right. When I came home that night with the stuff I needed, the wife thought $182.00 was a bit much. :eek: I have learned a lot building this beauty, and the enjoyment was tremendous, to say the least. The job now is to find a place to put it in the house. I'll worry about the next one when the time comes.:)

the5car made me think of another channel that guys would think is cool. I knew the bag over my head wouldn't completely hide me from the ladies, but I thought it was worth a shot. It didn't work. I've been chastised and must pay for my sins on the womens thread...
 
Yeah, blame it on the 5car........;)

I think it would be ok to let you stay here for a while...we need someone to get us a beer, clean up after us, cook, ect..
