Good Afternoon Ladies.....and pbunch. It's snowing here. As the weather had stated over night, well it didn't start till about 11:30 this morning. Very light snow though. Hope you all have a great day. I am doing some finishing touches on the moving and cleaning here. 6 more days.

I was out and about one day can't recall where I was. They had a chair made out of a high heel. My daughter wants it for her room. It was kinda neat.

One of the local furniture stores has them. They are really cute! I'm not sure how comfortable that they are to sit on, but the make for good decor.:)
 
I was thinking the same thing. It would look cute in a kids room, NOT to sure I would want it my living room.:p
 
With all the bellyaching they are doing over there they need a time out:p

Well, I have been lurking for days. But when TWF posted that about snakes...I have to take every chance I get to get my digs in. Although I don't like snakes either. How do your rings look kat?

Hi ladies. Just got back from buying a case of crayons. After reading some of the stuff I missed, we are going to need them. I'm thinking a big time out for the poster of the chicken picture. Perhaps coloring pictures of all drivers, crew chiefs and owners in Busch, Cup, ARCA abd ASA. That should keep him occupied for awhile.


On to the topic of soaps. Years ago I was a big Young and Restless fan, but since I'm not home during the day much, I've gotten away from the soaps. The other evening, just for grins, I was watching one of our Spanish language channels. I was hoping to improve my understanding skills. I tuned in a soap. I couldn't believe my eyes. At first I thought I had found the playboy channel. Needless to say, I didn't need to understand the language to figue out what was going on. This was not entertainment for anyone under 18. Guess I'll be crossing off that channel in my program guide. Have any of you ever seen these novellas, as they are called?
 
I've cruised by them once or twice --- found them too risque for me. One thing, you sure don't need any Spanish to understand the story line! LOL

I've never been a soap fan. My grandmother would never miss As The World Turns. I can't be bothered.

My weakness is Turner Classic Movie channel. I did like AMC, but they started running commercials! Phooey.

HGTV and BBCAmerica catch my attention, also.

TRL, I so love BBC America!!! Lifetime, Discovery, Animal Planet, PBS, and ABC soaps.
