Cool Woman Stuff

nascarwomen... there's a Canadian white wine that is sweet. I'm not a fan of sweet wine but this one was good. I gave a bottle to my folks. If they still have it I'll give you the name.
 
White Zinfandel (kinda pinkish)is darn good.

Sutter Home and GlenEllen are not that expensive but bottle good wine.

Lots of Jeff Gordon pics. When did this thread turn from Cool Woman stuff into The Lovers of Jeff Gordon? Boy did that come out wrong. Oh well I don't feel like changing it. lol.

Sorry still not seeing the hotness that people claim is Jeff Gordon.

And on the topics of wine, does anyone know where I could find a good website that tells me what kind of wine to serve with what. Like white wine is supposed to be served with something different that red wine. I have no clue and I have a party to go to that is kinda important and my friends and I were going to bring some wine, not for me to drink since I am not 21 (legal disclaimer).

I have a cool girls' tale for youse

yesterday after a motorkhana event i was at, the director ran a head to head race where they set up two straight slalom courses and ran two at a time. The director said (sexist pig he was) the girls can race each other and the guys each other...Hmmpphh said rallygirl who proceeded to run up against the fastest guy there...and guess what? I won both heats!!! lol

Nice cars. I did catch part of Full Metal Challenge and I saw the end part and I don't know what episode I saw but if you want I could tell you how the Aussies did.

Cool. Kangaroos. Do you see a lot of them when you go outside the city?

I saw the one where they build cars that go around an stadium and smash other cars. The Aussie girls won and are going on to the semi-finals. Might have been an old one. Not sure.
 
lol...kangaroos are everywhere..but not in the city or suburbs..you dont have to drive far to see one either. I ran over a wallaby (small kangaroo) one night:( It was already dead, so we removed it from the road...

Thanks for the info on TFMC...i plan to get cable telly soon so i can see it when it is finally released here ( i also want to see Nascar racing):D

Thanks for the pic. Is that from your win?

I have heard that Australia has a big problem with kangaroos and other animals running across roads and getting killed.
 
yep..we have a lot of road kill:( . I try to keep my speed down under the limit when driving at night in the areas where wombats and kangaroos hang out. sometimes they just jump out at you and land on your car:( .

the pic is from an autocross i won a couple of months ago (open class, one woman-(me) and 8 guys):p
 
8 guys, way to go. Only thing I can really beat guys at is brainy stuff and that isn't much fun. Racing cars has to be fun.

That has to be scary to have a creature jump at your car. I live in a medium size city so we don't get many critters other than small squirrels and stuff. A long cry from wombats and kangaroos.

We want him as a son-in-law and father of our grandbabies :)

Now on to the wine.....Red Wine with Red Meat, White meat and seafood get white wine.

Get a white Zinfandel if you don't know what's being served.

Chianti if it's Italian.

That 6 pack contribution is great, and I wish I still had the "Firemen" 6 pack (MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM but deleted, sigh)
