Could Kurt Busch end up @ Gibbs?

The comments I make about other drivers when on the highway would get me in big trouble. My wife get's all pissed.

My most common phrases while passing someone on the right because they don't realize that the left lane is for passing:
"Oh gee, what a surprise..."
"Well isn't that just to0 f***ing typical..."
"Get over you stupid f***ing "_______"

But I say those things in very calm manner which creates the illusion (for me) that I am less of an a-hole. haha

Right there , there's your clever repartee , that'll make Fender jealous.

The older he gets the more I have to be careful. He questions what I mean and at 8, he doesn't get the nuances that separate sarcasm and truth. But aren't all stereotypes based on truth?:D

Too deep for me, just reading it burnt up 6 more brain cells, I dont have any to spare.

Good ol boys are everywhere not just in the south. The K-BUs would not have survived ( career wise not dead Matt ) simply because they use their cars as weapons and run like a jack rabbit when its payup time. I truly would liked to have seen either one of them pull their crap on Fireball or Junior Johnson or any of the old drivers.
or Jimmy Spencer...oh yeah Mr. Spencer handled it "old school style"!

I dissagree. Dale Sr was a dick. Yet everyone loved him

I was not and am not a Dale Sr.fan. But he wasnt a dick, the K-BUs are though. He wouldnt scream, yell, throw the bird, or otherwise throw a childish temper tantrum like the brothers K. He would back up everthing he said and I mean everything. The brothers K back up nothing and stand behind a wall of crew members when they rant and rave. Thats why I can understand why so many race fans loved Dale Sr. and the same ones think the Brothers K are loud mouth cowards. Damn that was deep, must of burnt up 6 or 8 brain cells thinking that hard.

Yep I agree, Dale was a driver I loved to "hate", but I respected him. It is hard to respect Kyle and Kurt because you just know eventually one or both of them are going to implode. Both of them have so much talent, but neither of them have garnered the respect Dale Sr. had.

I think Kyle's learned his lesson after being parked. As long as Kurt has a ride and doesn't face any consequences for his actions, he'll never learn.

I didn't like Senior but ,like everyone else , my opinion has mellowed over the years . I probably have called him a dick and worse over the years but I can't really remember why . I did like the way he got along with the other drivers . And I liked how much he respected Nascar and they him . I don't think Rusty and Darrell liked him as much then as they seem to now . He had a great sense of humor ,wasn't much of a family man , great hunter ,loved Brooks and Dunn and Delbert McClinton . I sure did respect the way he could start the race with a piece of crap and tune on it until it was the class of the field.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kurt end up at Gibbs. I think it would be a good move for Kurt and JGR.

I remember when Dale Sr. first started. It wasnt long before he started to gather respect from the other drivers and the fans. He and Jeff Gordon were good friends and business partners and good friends and hunting and fishing buddies with most of the other drivers and owners. That is respect, something the brothers K know nothing about as they have stated many times that they have and never have had any friends. There P.R. people tell them what to say and how to say it and it works somewhat until their true colors come out. Damn I did it again, there went more brain cells.

I never liked Earnhardt. I have more respect for the likes of Gordon and Johnson. It takes a lot more talent to win races and championships by making clean passes than it does to wreck other drivers. Bristol '95, Earnhardt would've wrecked the whole damn field if he could have. And I can't count how many times Mark Martin was taken out of a top-five finish because Earnhardt decided to be a dick and turn him. There are some races he won by doing some incredible driving that you had to respect, and you can't deny his talent, but there are other races that he could have won without wrecking everybody that he did anyways, and other races where the only way he could win was to wreck everybody and he did. I think the one that really caused me to not like Earnhardt was Bristol '95 where he slammed in to every car on the track. I'm surprised he didn't wreck the pace car that night.

On the other side, I could probably count on my hands how many times Gordon's intentionally wrecked someone. He moved Wallace twice -- both times a "bump and run" not a "dump and run". And I think he wrecked Kenseth at Chicago one year but, quite honestly, Kenseth had that one coming to him. And I don't think I can remember any instance where Jimmie Johnson had to turn someone for the win.

I distinctly remember him dumping Jeff Burton for a win on the last lap of a race and half heartedly apologizing . Don't think Burton has been that close to a win since .

The Busch's---either one of them---should be directed( as in channeled) , given the absolute best equipment possible, again, and left alone to do the two things they do best: Throw fits and win a lot.

The spiritual successor to any Earnhardt-Wallace- Irvan will to win and never say die grit rests within the Busch Brother's. Brats or not, they have the right stuff for this sport.

We need more like 'em, and Gibbs should ditch Joey and hire Kurt tomorrow.

It's a sponsor driven sport and Radio Sweetheart seems to have trouble attracting sponsors.

I agree. But too many people are jealous and resentful of their success and skill and resort to taking cheap shots at them.

Resentful? Jealous? Cheap Shots? It's not that at all, it is just actions on and off the track that form their character or lack of. It would be an owners' nightmare to manage those two Prima donnas if they were on the same team, it could be done, but with a lot of effort and dollars that I don't think many elite teams would want to touch. Perhaps Kurt and Kyles' little joint venture in the Nation Wide series is something that will pan out and then be carried on to the Cup level. Having both of them answering to themselves as teamates and owners I can see working because they have a lot more to lose. Whereas acting the "spoiled little kid" in their present situations just doesn't hold them accountable enough for their immature actions.

So you respect the two pretty boys who barely know the difference between a lug nut or a lug wrench? Who never built a car from the ground up because mommy and daddy bought them top notch equipment and they lucked out getting the rides they have.
Sr came up on his own and did it the hard way.

btw were you even born when he started racing? And now you think you can critique him?

For being pretty boy that didn't know what a lugnut was, Jeff Gordon sure did kick Dale Earnhardt's ass on a consistent basis. :)

I'm just not so sure about all that right now.

JD Gibbs told NASCAR Radio's TMD hosts that there is NO truth to the rumor that they will be adding Kurt Busch to the JGR fold.

Thats one of those match ups I would love to see, Head to Head in equal equipment both drivers in their Prime. Never happened they where from different eras.

Why would would anybody be jealous of a creepy maggot like Kurt Busch. Yes he has skill, but he is still Kurt Busch every time he confronts a mirror. A walking piece of misery that will come to a bad end, pity would be more appropriate.

Gibbs is not foolish enough to hire him. Neither is the Corporate money going throw money at the liability.

And most of all NASCAR does not need him anymore than the NFL needed Terrell Owens. The self screwing is about 90 percent complete and once he completes the mission jealousy will not a be a factor in his demise.

Kurts problems are all of his doing, you can blame people like me for seeing and stating the obvious but it's not going change the real problem, Kurt Busch.

Who needs a stereotype joke, Kurts a piece of work in a class of his own, he transcends a white trash one because he has had the money, fame, and glory, most of all the skills.
But he is no hypothetical white trash stereotype, he has actually demonstrated and lived the wasteful process.

A joke is much kinder than the reality.

They need to make Kurt set out a season and run at a local dirt track on Saturday nights. I think he would get an attidude adjusment their.

Dale was almost 43, before they competed against each other. As a Gordon fan you I am sure you comprehend the effects with Gordons inability to match Johnsons performance as he approached and reached 40 himself.
Obviously 2012 Gordon doesn't match up well against his performance in the late 90s.

In like manner a distortionist could also ignore Gordons brilliance in the late 90s to claim Johnson is better based on head to head stats.
