Could Monster be bought out?

I guess that acquisition would make a certain amount of sense because Anheuser Busch's beer business is in a state of slow but steady decline, and Monster's sales and revenue had been growing at about 10% per year. Wall Street demands they find growth somewhere.

It would frankly be a tad unsettling to see a beer company taking over an energy drink company with its young consumer base as a way of luring new customers. But oh well.

This sounds like something of a distant rumor that isn't particularly likely. With Coca Cola already owning 16% of Monster, they should have some ability to prevent this if they want to.

ratings and numbers said what I was saying all along unless you want to swallow the B.S. FL is saying
here swallow this FL. It's a one race series and it wasn't good this year
Indy 500’s national TV numbers worst in 31 years of live coverage

Easily refuted and I will post a link to it as soon as TRL finds a place for where these posts belong.

The problem with that is that this particular company doesn't appeal to everyone. It's an energy drink.

It doesn't have that worldwide appeal like say..a cell phone company like Sprint which also has more marketing power and the money to spend.

Monster is really a small company when you compare them with the past sponsors of NASCAR.
Yeah, but it's not like Xfinity is available in every household either. At least I can get a can of Monster if I want one.

If you go to any or most 18-20 year old and ask about what NASCAR is about they will tell you two things, 1, they go in circles and 2, I only watch for the crashes follow by its too boring. ... Indycar and F1 is slowly gaining traction in the US.
Okay, you lost me there. If they won't watch NASCAR, why would they watch Indy and F1?

Right, Xfinfity does not serve my market, but we have plenty of Monster Energy drinks out here.

Over all F1 races can be a snore. But the passing in that series is about the most exciting in motorsports.
Not even close. Lead changes are far and few between. Montoya said it best, he watches the first lap then walks away.. Its boring. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh I didn’t say there was a lot of passing.

But when it does happen, it’s usually pretty damn cool (as long as they don’t cut a corner).
