For sure. But when the fanbase is that large, and *that* kind of fan is so frequent, whether or not it's exclusive to Elliott goes out the window, at least for me, as it's about exposure. But you're right.

Every popular driver has them and the most popular's fans are most vocal due to sheer numbers. I rooted against drivers because of some of their obnoxious fans usually, not because they were douches like Hamlin and Busch. Earnhardt, Gordon, Jr, and now Chase are hard to pull for except against said douches
