Did Kasey Kahne tank that restart? That was pathetic.
Jeff Gordon was pissed at Tony. Funny how Tony cries when someone makes a CLEAN pass 3 wide, and he gets into Gordon to get it done.
It's pretty amazing that Kez held 3rd on those old tires. He stayed out twice as long as any of the top 10 cars.

He said Jimmie went earlier then he thought and hit the gas to hard trying to catch up and spun the tires.
Now that he's moving to Hendrick they probably have Jimmie coaching him.
No he just wasn't going to dump his future teammate by dive bombing 3 like Edwards did a few years back.

It seems to me that staying alongside the leader BEFORE the restart is always a good idea. It seemed to me Kasey was a car length back before JJ even hit the gas.
You don't know when he hit the gas and as Kasey said after the race Jimmie went before Kasey expected he guessed wrong.

Yeah, Tony tends to be a double standard kind of guy, but you can't blame him for the move he made. Honestly, that move wasn't the 24's biggest problem, it was the engine that was beginning to fail on that restart.
KK got schooled by the five time champ, and that is all it was.

That sums it up. KK should still be proud, he did great today. But he definitely screwed up that restart.
