What consequences were there? Harvick wrecked. Chase advanced. When his bumper cover was flapping around, he wasn't penalized like anyone else would have been. And the fans got the desired outcome.

I'm not even blaming Elliott for this though, I put it all on NASCAR bending the rules again to appease the most toxic fanbase in motorsports.
