Cup RACE thread --- Charlotte Roval

I've been to Cup races run on at least eight tracks. We all know being at the track is better but to me, the Roval has the biggest disparity between watching on TV and attending live. TV doesn't do justice to the racing at most tracks but here is where it seems to do the least effective job of portraying the views, action, and overall experience.

One idjit's opinions.

Pocono is another track that's much better to watch on tv.

Maybe it’s a road course thing, because I feel the same way about Watkins Glen.

Top sirloin ready to cook on the electric stove in the dorm room. Hype to see the 9 take it home at the roval today.

Never been to the Roval but I feel the same about short tracks. They are small and you are close enough for it to feel inimate. The smell of the gas and burning rubber is also more intense. TV doesnt capture it.

Maybe one day there will be a TV that distributes the smells of the racing gas and the heptic feedback.
