I doubt he has been sandbagging but I hope he can put a good race together today and at least get a top 5 so he can stay in the points lead.

I really think pressure’s on for a win. Anything less is a failure today.

He’s gone from alpha dog at HMS to either 3rd or 4th. I’m pressing the panic button, but I’m an irrational fan. It just feels like a huge fall from the championship. 🤷‍♂️
Who cares about leading the points. You can’t Matt Kenseth or Terry Labonte your way to a title any more.

Chase is still number one in popularity and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Larson made to big of a mistake in the past to ever challenge him for the #1 spot and Bowman is to shy and doesn't really care about being the alpha dog so he won't be a threat and I don't see Byron giving Chase a run for his money. So Chase is pretty secure at HMS.

I wish I shared Clint’s optimism, but the 9 and HMS seems out to lunch this weekend. Maybe Mr. H can start selling Next Gen cars in the track attack program. 🤣😔
