Cup RACE thread --- Dover, Rd. 2

The 14 came down on the 9 in traffic and pushed in his right front fender 2 laps before the break. The tire changer was pulling it out and they got out of sync. Of course the yappers didn't cover it because it wasn't one of the fantastic 3.
They aren't listening to anybodies radio, that's for sure.

Dang. I was wondering how Bowyer got around him and also where that damage came from.

I am so sick and tired of Harvick. Come on somebody else!

It is kind of amazing that he can be so dominant on this day - but he knows this track and he has a great car. Unless something odd happens he just picks up a couple tenths on everybody else nearly every lap.

They need to force everyone, but the designated play by play caller, to wear headphones, and if the volume of their voice exceeds normal outdoor conversation levels, they pipe a delayed feedback of their voice back into their ear.

Matt has made up his mind it seems like about retiring.

Nothing wrong with that because Matt has nothing else to prove in his career. I hope he enjoys his retirement and family.

As a 42 fan they are absolutely awful. I can’t believe they got this far off since yesterday.

Clint is actually closing in.

He's less than two seconds behind Kevin.

Oof I spoke too soon.

Occasionally, somebody will hit the right combination and just plow under everyone else. Reminds me of the "olden" days when
the first car won by laps, rather than seconds.
Kevin is just "on" today. I wonder if he can keep it up.

Reminds me of when my son had a friend at LSU who was a pretty good long distance runner and he asked his friend what it was like to run against the guy on scholarship from Arkansas (actually from Kenya - went to the Olympics) and he said "I don't know, I only saw him for the first quarter of a mile or so...and then when he lapped me".

If Bowyer's crew helps that entry some, Harvick might have some competition.

Keyword is might.

Jimmie has no luck. Car is fast too, would have been a contender

Not saying you’re wrong, but Larson probably needs to get better at driver feedback and not rim ride at every track we go to
I agree. I’ve just seen Chad make terrible decisions this year so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Jimmie is just as fast as the 4. Probably coulda won this thing without the suspension issue

-21 points out for the #42 already. Ol' Jeff Earnhardt merely prolonged the inevitable.

Maybe it'd help if Jeff tried to enter pit road like last year.
