At least he can take consolation in the fact that his boy sucked all day instead of walling the fastest car in the closing stages for once. ;).

Sorry, I had to. Especially after 2+ years of constantly hearing “Cha2e” and “choker” when The Last True Racer has thrown just as many away in crunch time.

(In general, not from him in particular)

Man trust me chase isn’t the only one that gets hate. Larson and him need to start proving themselves more to get out of that conversation. Chase made a good step today.

Larson is a hell of a talented wheelman. I 100% get the backlash against Chase because he had best of everything, daddy’s name, yadda yadda. Then people loved to pile on when he failed. As I Chase fan, it always bugged me that Larson seemingly got a pass when he couldn’t close but people crapped on Chase. But as you know as well, putting up with the close calls and failures only makes days like today sweeter. Chase and Larson is a natural rivalry for the future...

For sure. I think Chase is in a great spot but I really think Kyle needs to get away from CGR if he wants a successful NASCAR career.

This is a real quote after the race today lol. He has all the talent in the world but till he fixes the upstairs department it’s gonna he hard to close the deal

I remember him having that quitter mentality last year or the year before also. Kind of strange. I mean I understand it with the way the format is, but literally anything can happen. I believe he was already eliminated the last time but still, go out and give it your all to at least get some wins.

For 3 seasons in a row it seems this team has **** the bed when it matters most and Larson is simply along for the ride. I dont blame him.

Yeah for whatever reason as a whole it just falls apart. On the team side that has to be on the Crew chief and I’ve never been to high in Chad.

15 cars on the lead lap. Impressive.

My point is I haven't heard other guys openly come out and say these things no matter how much they might be thinking them. He's done it a few times now. His lows just seem very low, that's all.
 
You guys are getting mad as hell at Larson, probably is a bit of a choker at times, but last I check he's running circles around McMurray on a weekly basis.
 
Finally finished up the race, what a finish, cool to see Chase get his second win, that was fun watching him race for it.

Really feel bad for Aric, he had that race all but won I think.

Seems like a stretch. Ever heard the great drivers like KB or Harvick in the radio. If they have junk stuff they are very vocal.

Hey don't be hatin on Jamie Mac :p lol. I don't think anyone is disputing Larson is better then McMurray, however, McMurray is also 40 and in a lame duck situation and Larson is without a doubt getting the top resources, and Jamie finished 2nd last week. Larson is good but he isn't immune to criticism like so many on here like to think. If KB or Truex made a quote like Larson did yalls eyeballs and arms and legs would be popping off like Mr. Potato head lol

Listening to his scanner channel, he was pretty locked in. Can’t blame him for not wanting to answer questions about “how will you choke this time?” I also would love to know what the code “Charlotte Airport” means. D’Hondt told him that right before both of the last restarts.

Lol yeah it was pretty funny. Alan came on and said something like "The NBC guys want to talk to you, you interested?"

He just replied "Nope."

All they wanted to do was talk about last fall when he couldn't hang on to the win. That was the last thing he needed at that time.

That booth down to the team radio is so idiotic. “No other sport lets you hear this”. Well no ****. What athlete wants to be distracted by talking heads when in the zone? Does Tony Romo get to chat with Tom Brady right before a 2 minute drill to end the game? **** no.

I thought I heard Eddie mention something about an airport also but was a little distracted cheering for Chase to win it. Probably told him to not forget to reschedule his flight back to Dawsonville after he won. :D
 
At what lap did Harvick have the tire problem?
