What a battle between the 11 and 5
So far pretty impressiveHeim still running lead lap in the mid 20s. Nice first start especially for getting thrown in there and how tough and unique this track is.
Are you at the track?Phew....maybe it is just me, but this single file, follow the leader is just not getting it for me. It feels like I am watching Indy car racing with bodies. Both the Xfinity and the trucks seem more competitive to me. Tell me how I am wrong....
No, do I need to be? Dover was always one of my favorite tracks but have not physically gone to any tracks other than Road America since Covid. And now that is gone. Will not breath Chicago air, much less spend a dollar of my money there, so that is out. Went to Bristol for twenty years running until they four years ago.Are you at the track?
Then it sounds like a Fox problem. This is the best racing I’ve seen at Dover in yearsNo, do I need to be? The TV coverage sucks as usual, watching in car cameras there is a lot of good racing and passing going on, but not seeing much of it on Fox.Then it sounds like a Fox problem. This is the best racing I’ve seen at Dover in years
They literally cut away from every “moment” happening. 11 got loose, cut away. There was another bobble they cut away from (6?), and they cut away as the 24 fell off the jack during green flag stop. They are flat AWFUL.The TV coverage sucks as usual, watching in car cameras there is a lot of good racing and passing going on, but not seeing much of it on Fox.
Agreed. Thought last spring was pretty good but this has been better.Through 2 stages this has been great
Yeah I think they have the tire right along with the teams getting it figured out.Agreed. Thought last spring was pretty good but this has been better.
Next gen has been miles better here then the last couple years of the previous gen
Miss the old days... forty-eight entries, forty-three make the race, the teams working to keep cars running... and cars able to go from the back to the front...well, and then back to the rear again. a couple of fist fights and purpose spins... hey, I miss that. Then again, in the last couple of years have been going to more short track events. Then it sounds like a Fox problem. This is the best racing I’ve seen at Dover in years
Passing all over the placeAny battles going on anywhere on the track? Or is it single file racing front to back?
Cameras must be showing everything except for the passes. Unless you are counting guys getting lapped as passing.Passing all over the place
It’s Fox are you surprised?Cameras must be showing everything except for the passes. Unless you are counting guys getting lapped as passing.
Yup, especially if one is an advocate of a domestic manufacturer. Ford is the last one hundred percent USA manufacture represented since the CCP has a 25% controlling interest in GM. If ya' gotta back a foreign manufacture, I personally would go with Toyota since Japan is more of friend than China. It SUCKS to be a Ford fan these days. This Dark Horse is a gelding.
Agreed, the leader board has not changed since the last stage started. The 24 is still mired in the high teens, not a fan but usually the Hendrick cars all end up towards the front no matter where.Cameras must be showing everything except for the passes. Unless you are counting guys getting lapped as passing.
I think it’s mostly just racers racing the track today. Passing early in the restart then it’s largely practice laps. I get it that old school had this also, BUT, these cars are nearly invincible, so no more blown engines from pressing it too hard, rare mechanical breakdowns…Cameras must be showing everything except for the passes. Unless you are counting guys getting lapped as passing.
