IMO, Carson was running extremely well today, for his first time in this car. Brake rotor walled him. I expect he will be back.

Hocevar running 16th in a car that's usually 28th and winning in a truck that's usually 20th. If he isn't in Cup in 2 or 3 years the sport is fundamentally broken.

Give it time. When Hocevar gets to Cup, the same people who are praising him will be calling him "too aggressive" and saying he needs to be "more respectful."

Yes. It wouldn’t turn to the left when he tried to go to the garage. The rotor chunk probably did the damage.
I think the real message is that the kid was running midpack Cup in a car he’s never been in.

Man I was a big believer in Lajoie. Sure the rest of Hendrick seems off too but they’re all pretty far ahead of him. Then Hocevar takes the 7 and has top 15-20 speed in his very first cup start. I just don’t know man.

I told my girlfriend who I got into NASCAR about Lajoie. I said my NASCAR forum had been *insert very inappropriate hand gesture*'ing it's self over him and proclaiming he just needed to be in good equipment and he's running dog**** at least the first half of this thing.
