Can’t imagine how huge this win was for Bubba Wallace and that race team. Especially given all the bull**** with the lawsuit and losing their charters. As well as Bubba’s long winless drought and perennially being on the playoff cut line.

Bubba is easily the most scrutinized driver in the sport. For a multitude of reasons. Fair or unfair. He also works his ass off. I hope he genuinely enjoys this moment. Not many drivers get to kiss the bricks. Regardless of how the rest of his Cup career he will forever be a Brickyard 400 winner.

Also the trophy presentation for 21st place Ty Gibbs for winning the stupid bracket challenge was the most cringe worthy thing I’ve seen in a minute. Good grief.

That's when I knew nothing else of consequence would be said and I went out for the weekly backyard clean up of dog droppings.

I had myself a slight laugh, I thought it was a good bit of unintentional comedy

I would never do that during the race coverage (cause the trash does not pick up until Tuesday in my neighborhood).

I’m not a Bubba fan, but I definitely don’t get upset or care about who wins the races. Actually getting worked up over the winner seems silly to me. Only thing that I guess is frustrating is a back marker being in the chase after winning a plate track. But even that, I’m really just upset about the rules and not about the winner.

While typing this, I guess I should add that I am referring to a clean win. If a driver flat out dumps another driver for the win, then yeah, that might make me mad.

Mine is Monday before 8am. That's why I do the collection Sunday afternoon. By 5:30 or so, most of the back yard is in shade.
