Cup RACE thread --- Las Vegas

Chase had no shot to win, but a top 10 or maybe lucking into a top 5 wasn’t out of the question. Crap happens. That’s racin’ I guess. My only hope for the 9 now is Martinsville. I would add Phoenix but now that the 4 team is on a roll forget that.

Team will get it together.

Byron sucks. Bowman isnt that good. 48 has been faster than the 9 since the third run. His team is good.

In Chase's case, its just "sh!t happens'

Bad to come up with now, its just too early in the season.

Chevy in general sucks ass right now, its just not on HMS.

Yeah, I think Harvick has already won Phoenix next week.

Remember angry bastard Kurt Busch from a few years ago? He's like a completely different guy now.

Nah bruh, people have had his number the past couple of years.
He did win there in '16, albeit by a couple of inches. They way that 4 team is running right now, I'd probably take him against the field at his best track.

Alert: This board’s least favorite driver is in 10th and sporting a hell of a paint scheme this week

He'll get it, but everyone was hollering for him to go to Cup after last year.

He's a very patient driver, he's not going to drive outside of himself and force things.
I think he’ll be okay towards the end of this year, such a huge jump to Cup from Xfinity. And HMS might need to figure out the ZL1’s a bit more

Good, Bowman is still right behind JJ, now he needs to get back on the lead lap.

wasn't the 48 two laps down and falling earlier?
If I didn’t know any better I thought he was going to get out of his car after this race and just say the hell with it I’m done and retire. He’ll get a top 10 at the end of this.

Hamlin is usually pretty solid here, I'm surprised like hell he's behind all weekend.

Out of the norm for the guy.

If he gets track position and some time, car is fast.

Man, Buescher is really putting the hammer on Allmendinger so far this year.
I hope he stays on the radar of the bigger teams for the future. Could be easy to get overlooked with all of the development programs now, but I think he does a good job for what he's given.
