It could have been more insulting. While planning the event they were tempted to use a Marcus Smith cardboard cut out for a signature late race caution reset.Not really swinging. Been in the dumps since the cardboard caution last week and I'm still there.
It would have been some future HoF resume padding for Smith, they just wasn't sure about how much blowback it would have caused.
