Cup RACE thread --- Las Vegas

Another beautiful race day

Looking forward to this one. A Larson win would be great, but otherwise a solid points day will do.

Looked to be the best car in practice so let's get it done!

Curious to see how the 12 looks. I had him as a surefire final four driver this year. We'll see

Chase Elliott fans, William Byron fans and Bowman fans, does The crew chief also give a shout out to the track, the fans at the track, the fans tuning in and shout out all of Hendrick Motorsports in the team before starting the race?

I've noticed this is something Daniels does every week. Curious if that's a Cliff thing or if it's just part of the HMS culture

The MRN guys used to address the fans directly, sometimes by specific section.

Ross has been a road block and is just really slow. He's the reason the top 3 took off. He held up the 11/5 for a good 10 laps, doing the same to the 9/24 now

According to the data on autoracinganalytics, Larson is the best restarter this season.

Take advantage of that here. If you can get ahead of the 20 on this restart, you could control this race. Top 5 stage points here would be nice, albeit not necessary

that's definitely in the running for one of the most violent impacts of the season

Cliff Daniels man what the hell was that pit call?

4 scuffs against other 4 tires? Zero stage points.

Choked the stage. Moron

4 scuffs against a pack of 4 stickers was not the right call by Daniels.

Cant be giving up stage points and track position to cars slower than you.

Not a good day.

Boy the timing of that caution and the result couldn't have been any worse for the 9 smh

He's got track position now though.

5 went from p3, to scuffs, to now restarting outside the top 10. Today will eat into his big points advantage. Elliott probably won't lose much track position here, and if he does, it'll net out.
