Had the chance but didn’t have the stones to move the 24. Need to start racing teammates how they race him. Hell of a job by Fugle and the 24 guys.

They certainly have had no qualms using him up (Larson) or hanging him out to dry in draft (Byron) He needs to start giving it back. I mean, Chase had no business winning today but the chance was there, and they’re few and far between last couple years.
 
Don’t know if Elliott still had some pickup on his tires from the caution or what, but he looked mad loose on the restart. He got Byron out of the groove a bit but he couldn’t put the power down to do anything with it.

Under normal circumstances he raced him how I would want him to, but with how much they've been struggling and how badly he needs to shed that monkey on his back, you gotta go balls to the wall there instead of being the company man. Don't junk him, but give him a little more than what you did and deal with it later.

Chase’s teammates would’ve moved him.

I’d love to see Chase Elliott go to another team.
 
Watched it from Larsons onboard.

Chase DID try to use up Byron, but the 12 got into him and he lost the nose.

As for Byron, great pit call for the 24. And of COURSE he gets the lead right after the 9/11, and the 5/23 get together and give him a clear shot at the 9 XD

Trackhouse, RFK, SHR… also the newer teams.

But yeah, he’s a Hendrick lifer. And probably brings a ton of money into Hendrick with sponsorship deals and endorsements.
