Nice to see Saurez in the booth. Wish they had a better finish today. Love that guy and I hope he garners more exposure for the sport. He’s good for the sport.
We short guys can't afford to fight fair.Hit him someplace closer he'll take a knee.
32nd was a good finish for Katherine.I was told Katherine Legge would wreck a ton of people today and be a weapon and this and that.
Turns out the weapon was Kyle Busch.
And she placed ahead of two Cup champions.
32nd was a good finish for Katherine.
The race is more than one lap.She could've had a much better finish if she didn't get Hocevar'd.
Probably so he ain't gotta spend the night in Mexican JailMy follow up question would have been, why can’t you beat his ass in Mexico?
Would Nascar officials police that though? Usually if there’s a scuffle nascar folks are the first ones interveningProbably so he ain't gotta spend the night in Mexican Jail
Maybe. Idk. The police there might not take it so lightly is what I'm guessing.Would Nascar officials police that though? Usually if there’s a scuffle nascar folks are the first ones intervening
He's riding back on Spire's plane? My follow up question would have been, why can’t you beat his ass in Mexico?
Ripoff. The Xfinity guys got sombreros.
Ricky got nothing for Hocevar if they’re both holding steering wheels.Best part of this is Josh standing there waiting for the show.
That’d be an interesting plane rideHe's riding back on Spire's plane?
Live and learn.
No. He said something along the lines of "I cant wait to race there next year" regarding Chicagoland.Did he stick his foot in his mouth in a pre-race interview?
Whoops. I'm a knucklehead and didn't read the full quote and thought it was about something else he recently said.No. He said something along the lines of "I cant wait to race there next year" regarding Chicagoland.
Ah, there's this quote from Friday night:Whoops. I'm a knucklehead and didn't read the full quote and thought it was about something else he recently said.
My bad.
Yeah - I think that horse has been beaten to death. This format is just a stupid joke. Credit to the 5 bunch for finding a way to exploit it though. Also - no disrespect to SVG as he's probably the best road racer I've ever seen but he's not good enough elsewhere to be a playoff driver but then this format comes along and welcome to the playoffs. Chase drove one of his best races of the year and it feels empty and hollow to me since all that matters is winning and he got no playoff points. No one out there had a shot at SVG.Like D Jr. said, Larson shouldn’t have gotten any points for fastest lap in this clown, circus format.
Yep, it's a gimmick rule but we can't fault a team for taking advantage of it when possible. I never thought much of the old 'point for leading a lap'. I thought it encourage too much staying out under caution. If revived (and there's no sign of it), it should be a point for leading a lap under green only, not yellows.Credit to the 5 bunch for finding a way to exploit it though
Gibbs was running a competitive race until he got wadded up. As much as he was an ass on Saturday, he obviously learned from the on-track time.No one out there had a shot at SVG.
Well the series does have road courses...?!!Yeah - I think that horse has been beaten to death. Big bucks for teams that hit the jackpot. They say Burton's win last year that put the Wood Brothers in the playoffs was worth over 3 million spread out over three years.SVG was hired by Trackhouse to get his car in the Chase each year and help them collect a bigger chunk of the team money by doing what he did in Mexico City. That's how the sport is structured so that's what you're gonna get.
The selection process is ummm … flawed. And yet he's the most popular driver....
I'll take "Who is worse at driving the Next Gen after Kyle for $200 Alex?"Somebody had to take over the Paul Menard persona.![]()
Formula for winning that award......Box 1: Personality, Box 2: Talent.....Chasey is running out of boxes. Enter Noah Gragson.....Box 1, no Box 2. Winner. And yet he's the most popular driver....
JHN has no bidnis in a Cup car.
Okay, Rev, "He's fourth in points with 32 chartered drivers behind him, including all but one Toyota driver?"I'll take "Who is worse at driving the Next Gen after Kyle for $200 Alex?"
You forgot having a motivated fan base, a bigger factor than either of the other two.Formula for winning that award......Box 1: Personality, Box 2: Talent.....Chasey is running out of boxes. Enter Noah Gragson.....Box 1, no Box 2. Winner.
