Cup RACE thread --- Nashville

With permanent seating for only 25,000 (per the track website) it's a wonder that Nashville was given a Cup race.

Even Iowa, at 30,000, seats more.

Gotta admit though, the track itself along with where it's located would be a huge improvement over Phoenix.
IIRC Homestead's permanent seating is not far off from that number. I want to say it's 27K.

The track is located about 30-45 minutes away from downtown Nashville. There's not a lot next to it other than several huge Amazon distribution centers. It kind of takes away from the scenery. We made our first trip there last night. Lots of friendly people working there.

Remember, SMI moved the Kentucky date to Nashville to show there is a market for racing there in hopes to get things going forward at the Fairgrounds. Plenty of parking and overall nice facilities. There is room to grow.
