Yup that’s exactly what happened , shouldn’t have never pitted after Harvick should have went in first and let Harvick catch him
Kyle made a public appearance Sunday morning ........ said that folks should bet their money on Harvick .......... Kyle also said that he would "get what he could" ............ and he did that. He could have won IMO

We were very sad to see what ISM is doing with the track ........ ticket prices will be soaring, pit passes for the weekend will be double what they are now .... 125 dollars !!!! PIR offered a very affordable event but that is all going to change. There were very few vendors at the race and no cool attractions like they have always had in the past. Changes are not always for the better .. they are going to lose a lot of loyal fans out there

Sometimes I wonder the decision making process of crew chiefs because this happens SO often with so many teams.
2011 phoenix chase race. Stewart won the title but I contest that Bob Osbourne (Edward's crew chief) gave it away at Phoenix. Edwards had the race lead, took it from Kahne with like 30 to go. Kahne pitted, and Osbourne pitted carl like 10 laps later. Kahne had the lead due to tires and Carl ran out of time, finished p2.
Following week, Tony wins Homestead, Edwards p2, tie breaker goes to Tony. Had Osbourne pitted Carl just a lap after Kahne at Phoenix, he would have won that race, and the championship the following week. I'll never forgot that.

Yea it’s weird, I have notice Kyle crew chief Adam Stevens usually only do this when his car just isn’t good enough to win outright and it has worked in the past but yesterday Kyle had a good enough car to pit first and stay out front.. should have made Harvick burn his tires to catch Kyle .. ohh well on to the next

Don't know what The Imitator's deal with Blaney is/was. Tried to put him in the fence twice in the first half of the race, and once they both got passed by Stenhouse. A lot of good that does.

KDB didn't have the best car, but he got better which he does a lot. They had trouble with the jack on the last pit stop which didn't help, he had to run hard to catch back up and he didn't have any left when he did. It was something to see both of preacher's yotas working over the 4 car for a while, and Elliott later giving him a rough time. Really good clean racing by some of the best there is.
