I don't understand it. Forget NASCAR. Forget this decade. NBC's week to week coverage of cup races may be among the worst sports coverages I've ever seen. It's terrible. Absolutely terrible. The second half of the year is always so freaking narrative driven.

Gordon isn’t my favorite commentator, but I’ll take him over any of the NBC guys. Jr is my guy but I’m not a big fan of him in the booth.
