Cup RACE thread --- Texas

I mean Kevin, you did wreck him… and when asked if it was over you grinned… shut up and try to win before the year is out

If Larson doesn't start on the pole, does he dominate and win today?

Is this a "if a tree falls" question?
No. With how fast the 24 was, and how difficult it was to pass, I'm genuinely curious if he would have been able to get that track position without the pole and pit stall.

The only time he had to take the lead, he had fresh tires and ran Byron down from like 5 seconds back.

Yes. That team and car is that much better. Put one of the most talented drivers in the seat and it’s borderline easy.

Agreed on both. Doubt practice would have him winning less is all I’m saying
Maybe. But there are many teams that either have no notes from last year or are comprised of new team members/crew chiefs that could certainly run better every week if they had the opportunity to run and adjust prior to the race.
Larson has been the guy to beat all year and he’s right where he belongs.
This package is junk. I’m not looking forward to the new car because NASCAR is still in charge. I expect the new car will also produce the same flatfooted racing that we are currently tolerating.
