Cup RACE thread --- Texas

A half dozen really good cars had issues and finished at the back today, yet the 9 could still only manage a 16th? What the hell is going on with this team
Change is needed, but no one at HMS seems to have the guts to pull the trigger.

Time for some deep soul searching. You know the answers, but it’s hard to admit them because it’s embarrassing for fans who have talked **** for so long imho.

He's the slowest in the HMS camp, and routinely slower than the three Spire cars as well. Something needs to change

Blaney needs Rogaine for that chin. Does that even qualify for a beard? 🤔

What?

I swear he backs into half of his wins. Can't until Larson passes him in all-time wins.

Exhibit 3178.12 of why this piece of **** doesn’t belong on the schedule. Not to mention the dead horse argument about this car…

Ridiculous take. The track and car was difficult as hell to handle today. This is what we should want as fans

Look what happened with the 24. Initially pulled away with front end damage until mechanical grip happened. Once he got in dirty air, he sank like the Titanic.

Tru dat. The track was reconfigured with two completely different ends because the fans said the track was a cookie cutter. Now with age the pavement has come in, setup is complicated and the track is slick and treacherous. The drivers and most of the fans wanted a car that is hard to drive. Now of course they want the opposite. Let em cook, nothing is changing. Multi lane very fast passing track that takes skill to drive.

For some reason greed overcomes product quality and they get rid of California.

The car is just an aero POS. Keeps getting worse. kLeEn AiR Is kInG.
This is how racing is from here on out.

It’s not as bad as the last one though. Most tracks with any speed were one groove only with the previous car. You could pass today, it just wasn’t easy
