Cup RACE thread --- Texas

I think the reason he became more well liked is because he's inarguably one of the best drivers of this generation, yet he's...well, struggling is an understatement, so a lot of people really wanted to see him breakthrough and win again.

But then recently he's reminded everyone why he was hated in the first place, the only difference is that he's now running 30th and fighting with Riley Herbst and the Cody Ware. Pathetic.

Hocevar up two. Buescher 2 also.

Maybe I'll have to go back to a race thread from 5-6 years ago and see how many names we haven't heard from in a while. It feels like most of the users from back then are still around.
Still in here. Just gradually lost interest with the sport over last few years. Spend almost every Saturday at the local short track - much more invested in that.

Not me. I’m totally here for his struggles. Even more rewarding when they are self imposed.

Nemechek always needs his ass kicked.
Your generalization about Nemechek is generally true, but if your intent is to somehow excuse what Kyle Busch did to the 42 on the backstretch at Texas... well, you're just wrong. There is no excuse for that. It is unacceptable behavior. It should receive a stiff penalty, a week's suspension IMO.

I haven't cared for Nemecheck since he ran Custer in the dirt and all the way down the fence to the finish line racing in the Truck series at Canadian tire and years later he hasn't done anything to change my opinion. He chose not to cut Busch a break, his choice and typical of the lil prick he is.
Kyle has had a lot more dealing with him than anybody considering Nemecheck was driving a KBM truck at the time in his career. Could be why Kyle ran him into the fence, hell if I know I'm not his keeper.
The stiff penalty, week suspension B.S. is just that. There are always people out there that you will never be able to make enough rules to satisfy them. There is a balance between Bowman Grey and Indycar and Nascar stays between those lines IMO. Guys like Kyle Busch over the years have always pushed those lines. Maybe Nascar said something to him, maybe not.
Not a peep around here about what Preece did to boy wonder Ty Gibbs. Where's your outrage about that?

I'm not excusing Busch or Preece, but Preece's move didn't cost him twelve spots and his best non-plate finish of the season.
I don't know who you are talking about or could care less. I was answering Lewtheshoe. But it's exactly what I am talking about. He gets a penalty, he doesn't B.S.. You guys need to go watch FIA they have a penalty for everything. Go to watch penalties and a race breaks out.
