so is that 88 fella not doing the Pre Race threads anymore?

I think they posted the Xfinity on the cup page. Now nothing is there. I'll try to post it when it is posted.

I realize it's only Tuesday but does anyone know Austin Dillon's status? Do we expect he'll be in the car? I recall JJ sat out only one weekend.

I thought at the Pocono double header they used the same car in both races? They had a backup car but had to start in the rear of they had to use the backup.
I haven't heard anything about one car or being able to use two cars. I would think with wraps being used they could work something out to be able to re wrap the car if they can use only one car

X3 First time not going to Dover at least once during the year since 2012 (couple years I only did Truck or K&N race, etc.)
I've been going every year since 2016 when I was at the Larson/Kenseth/Elliott race. It's become my favorite track to attend. I had garage passes last fall through Paul Wolfe. He grew up in my area. It was awesome.

Re wrapping a car would not be a problem for a team. They would just have to have their wrap guys there. We have had many cars re rapped at the track.

edit--They could also have their wrap guys at the shop send the information over the computer to a wrap company close to the track and then they could print the wrap and send their guys to wrap the car. I have also seen teams that always used a wrap company close to their shop have them fly to a track and wrap a car or a hauler.

I would think they would need to find a local wrap company as crews are kept to a bare bone minimum lately and doubt the teams wrap guys would be allowed at the track.

Good point. They may even have to have a roll back come pick the car up and take it to a wrap shop. That is how we have done it for meet and greets the past few years when we had to put the car on display. Instead of hauling the car from the track to the meet and greet in our semi we just had a towing company bring a roll back and haul it there and then they come back and pick it up and take it back to the track. It sure made my job a lot easier. :)

MTJ starts his run to the Championship right freaking here....maybe.

I know that window was required at several tracks, to the point that cars that lost one were required to pit and have another one installed. I never knew why but assumed it was for safety. Since it's being removed for driver comfort, apparently safety isn't involved. Can anyone tell me why it was mandated in the first place?

Having drivers collapsing and being rushed to the infield care facility for heat exhaustion. I would think that would be a safety issue in itself
