Well, I did it again. I got caught up in the "end of auction adrenaline rush" that hits me from time to time. I just agreed to buy two really good tickets to the Cavaliers game this friday. It's not that I didn't really want to go, but I just spent a lot more than I had planned to. I somehow missed the decimal in my bid and ended up bidding over $8000.00 for them. I ended up winning them for $88.00+$5 shipping. Not bad considering the face value is $75 each (or $150.00 for both). So I saved $57.00 all together. But I really shouldn't have spent that much anyway.
Oh well, if I can't unload them before Friday I guess my son and I will just have to have a great time and try to forget how much money it is costing me.
That's what happens when you don't check carefully before submitting your bid! But, just think, you and your son can have a great time! And don't think about how much you spent!
There are several other auctions that end on Monday for very similar tickets. And I very well may have been able to buy them for less money. But then, You never know.

and just remember it could have cost you the 8000. for them.
Wow 8000.00 is a wee bit much to give for any tickets  Have a great time at the game with your Son. That's worth a lot more than 8 grand. By the way that guy you were trying to outbid. I bet he thought you were nuts'
My wife did too. She was a little upset at first that I spent that much. But then she thought about it and decided I deserved it as hard as I have been working for the extra money I have been making lately.
