Danica Patrick needs to cut out the crap on TV

Yes, I saw it. Alli was mad, and she had every right to be mad. She's worked her butt off to only get enough sponsorship to run part-time in ARCA. Most of those guys and girls in ARCA do. And SPEED blew every single one of them off to absolutely obsess over Danica Patrick. I thought ESPN did a great job this week, they put focus on her for the people who tuned in just to see her race (btw, there was no dropoff in viewers after she crashed) without focusing too much on her.

Alli probably didn't make any friends with the media with that rant, but she said exactly what was on her mind and that's rare in NASCAR nowadays.

By the way, here's Alli's commentary and follow-up. Very entertaining stuff!

You guys say you're sick of drivers being vanilla and not being honest, well here's one for you who will speak her mind and stand her ground!

Who is Bobby Gerhart? J/K!! But that is my point regarding how much press he got! Yeah, I think they might have mentioned he won at least once.

Isn't it strange to be saying that ESPN did a better job than SPEED? It's about time! I guess they got tired of everyones rants at them. lol

I read the piece by Alli and I must say that I want to apologize for having participated in this thread.I congratulate those of you who did not.We really don't need to be demeaning individual drivers,their fans and their sponsors.I will try never to do it again.Thanks Alli,you are a good person.

Ratings were up 60% over last years event according to Waltrip.

Jr haters? What about Gordon haters? My Goodness how I have had to put up with horrible comments about him as my fav!
I don't hate Danica, and I don't think the original author intended the thread to be about hating her. I simply don't agree with the nature of one of her ads or that paticular sponser.
 
All I got to say is I would rather see a half naked Danica than Conway talk about getting a bigger *****.

Nope, it's not about hate. I have nothing against her. I don't like her ads and can't stand all the hype for someone that won 1 race, a fuel mileage race on top of that.

I dont hate her either, just think shes very ugly and it boggles my mind that she is forced down our throats as a sex symbol.

I get that. I would much rather them use Milka Duno as a sex symbol if they have to have one. Not so much the face but a much more feminine body.
 
Danica's face isnt overly feminine either. Not to mention her hair looks like asscheeks.

My god ugly she is not, yeah there are better looking women but ugly? Now I don't agree about all the coverage I say proof is in the puddin and she ain't showed me crud yet.

I look at this way while Indy cars are parked and not racing what till March, Danica is out racing. Yea she's a rookie/beginner and she's not jumping into the deep end but I like what I see so far. She's listening to the other drivers with more experience and her crew chef. She's studying films and trying to do it right. Give her a break geez.

The haters on this board will never give her a break. I watched the same press conference these guys did, and I thought she handled all the questions in a professional manner.
 
I was remarking that we are even having this discussion on an automotive racing forum.
